Ariane (she/her) did her MSc in Developmental Biology and Genetics at the University of Vienna in Austria. Fascinated by the role of miRNAs in the regulation of gene expression, she joined Luisa Cochella’s lab at the IMP in Vienna before moving to charming Baltimore. When not in lab, Ariane likes to cuddle with Chris the cat, climb or hit people on roller skates (aka roller derby).
